Ibiza

Posted by Chris in News

We set on Saturday morning from Denia here, on the fast ferry. Two hours later arriving to Ibiza town. Ibiza town itself is very old, dating before Roman times. The top on the town is dominated by the church and castle. Infact the castle are old town was my favourite part of the Island. During our 3 1/2 days there we checked out many nice beaches. With great views and nice white sand. The only drawback was there was a lot of people. Many tourists, but its natural for this time of year. Purhaps September would be better, less people and still warm.

The whole island very much living of its beaches, history and the Discos (of course). World class discos infact. With apparently the worlds biggest - Space (The name says it). We went to a few of these discos. But many had cover charges 60 euros+ So bring some spare mastercards along….. Lucky we did get into a few discos for nothing. Like Pacha for example.

Came back on Tuesday, tired and lacking sleep. But a good island. Many things to do if you like beaches and discos. Plus a little Spanish culture and history.

The photos are now in the Photo Album.
