In Spain again

Been back now for 3 weeks in Spain, Just haven’t got round to adding a post to my site. Well into winter here temps ranging from coldest 7-8 degrees to one Saturday hitting about 21 degrees around midday. Not too bad really for winter! At the moment its cold, specially the houses here I find. They are with granite floors. Built to be cold for summer makes sense since 9 months will be warmish. At the moment I’m still continuing with my Spanish classes. At El centro de Espanol (The center of Spanish) Going ok, but still miles away from being fluent! That will take years. Almost at level 4 now. Each level of course gets harder and harder.
Funny thing is when I came back my teacher told me there is another New Zealander here in Denia! Turns out another kiwi guy from Christchurch. Stange, I was thinking I was the only one in small Denia.
Just goes to show you us kiwi’s do get around the globe a bit. Job wise nothing yet!! I know,sent out a lot of CV and applied for many jobs. Nada. Apparently things should pick up in March I’m told. When Denia wakes up from winter and the tourists start to arrive and companies open up again (The ones that close for winter) Will be looking to get my Spanish licence here. I can use my NZ one. But when I get my resident papers. I can’t use it anymore. Crap I think…
I’ll post more about what I’m up too when I have something more (interesting too) to post about.
