Oktoberfest in Spain: Last weekend we heading off to Caple to the Oktoberfest held there by the local German community. The original Oktoberfest is basicly a beer festival and the World’s biggest fair. On a huge scale in Germany. 14 huge beer tents, each with bans, and carnival rides etc outside. Have a look at the offical site here to get an idea. We couldn’t make it to germany but at least got a taste of it here in Spain. I drunk a few paulaner beers and ate some nuremberg sausages, yum! All while listen to the german band up the front of the beer tent. So it gave me a taste of what to expect in Munich when I do make it there.
And today the The 173rd Oktoberfest ended. Hopefully next year I can make the 174th!
